Palmarès 2010 de la Clef VerteLe Fournil is the old baking house of the manor of La Ville Heleuc. In this Little House, as we still call it, we lived, when we came to Brittany more than 30 years ago. In the years 2010/11 this hous of only about 30 m² got a wooden extension and has been completely renovated. 25 years after La Forge, Le Fournil opened its doors to welcome our visitors. 

The renovation has been made entirely with ecological materials (wood, cannabis, lime, earth, granit, ...) so one would feel fine all year round. It's interior is modern, simpel and natural. Touch of colours remember the old function of the construction: red and orange like fire, but also green as the environment. Daylight comes through big windows, so that needs of artificial light are minimum. Walls can breath thanks to lime-cannabis and earth plaster. All electrical cables are isolated, artificial light comes from leds and energy-saving lamps. Heating comes from our central wooden heater to the granitplates of the floor on all the downstairs surface.

Rez-de-chaussée accessible

It was not possible to meet all standards, but Le Fournil has been thought to accept people in wheelchair. The entry is without steps, downstairs including the terrace everything is on same level, doors are wide and most of them sliding. The downstairs sleeping room has an adjacent shower accessible in wheelchair and a door to the terrace. The independant toilet is wide with a large sliding door. The living room includes the open kitchen, dining corner and opens by two sliding doors to the terrace. It is equiped with video projector with tv, books, games, ...Bienvenus les bébés !
Upstairs there is one big room, that can be seperated by curtains. Two one-person beds can transform to one big bed or two sofas. When necessary two babybeds and a futon come out of the cupboard. The bathroom has a tub/shower. Le Fournil has all the equipment necessary for babies or kids.

The prices above are global prices, which include energie (electricity, gas, water) and final clean-up. We do not charge extra cost for bed linen, bath linen (1 bath sheet, 1 hand towel and 1 wash glove per person), sponge, dish towels, table cloth, ecological dishwashing liquid. Without extra cost you can use our spa, sauna, bicycles, baby-equipment (cot, mattress, push chair, highchair, ...), etc.
